These 6x6mm pearshape faceted beads are made of jet black colored crystal glass. The beads are hand faceted, called "tin cut" indicating the surface on which the faceting was done. The edges are very precise, and the facets reflect their cutting by hand. No two artisan crafted beads are exactly alike. Handmade vintage products can have slight variations in size, shape and color. Made in Japan in the early 1960s.
